I think I change just as many poop diapers as I do pee diapers! Its gross! My house always smells like poop because somebody is always pooping. And as a family we are often on the same poop schedule so when one person poops another does soon after, and so on and so on. And it is just disturbing, and smelly. It is not even 10:00am yet and Lily has already pooped twice and she woke up at 8:45!
I have no idea how Tyler ever poops. Its not like he ever really eats. He probably had 10 bites of food all day yesterday but sure enough he pooped. But I completely understand how Lily is always pooping because she is ALWAYS eating! I can not wait until they both can go on the potty and wipe their own butts. It is bad enough to have to smell their dirty diapers and wipe their butts, but now both of them fight to have their diaper changed. They would rather sit in it and play and let it burn their butts then stop for five seconds to change it!
And Tyler refuses to use the potty. I don't want to traumatize him by forcing him to sit on the potty but this is getting ridiculous, he is 3! I have a feeling Lily will learn to use the potty before he is ok with trying it. Times like these is when I wish I was really rich and had a nanny who could take care of this stuff for me! But I don't, so I have to go change ANOTHER poop!

Tyler needs to see other kids use the potty. Solution...daycare. my one mommy friend was in the same situation, until her son started daycare, they introduced him to the potty. good luck.
ReplyDeleteI'm just not comfortable with daycare yet. I'll get there someday but I'm not there yet. I'm happy that Tyler finally realizes that the poop is uncomfortable but he still would rather sit in it than use the potty. But I am just happy we are taking baby steps.
