Lets make a plan

I am the type of person that has to plan ahead of time.

When going somewhere I even calculate my route time and add it into my overall time to make sure I show up on time or early. I hate being late! Although now that I have kids I'm often late, but it seems like there is always some small crisis happening before we leave making it difficult to get leaving when I want to.

But travel time is not the only thing I plan, I try and plan every detail that will happen. If we go to the restaurant how long will that take until we make it to the store. If we stop at the gas station that will put us there at this time. If there is traffic then I have to drive faster after the traffic to make it there on time.

I like to know exactly what is going to happen at all times because I hate surprises. They throw me off and mess up all my scheduled time. I don't live my entire life by a plan but when I am going places I like to know what will occur and how long it will take.

Usually if I leave the house I have several things to do and they are usually on a time schedule (get it done before Lil falls asleep in the car) so if one thing takes longer then its more likely that I won't get everything done before she falls asleep otherwise she only sleeps in the car and won't go back to sleep once we get home.

I have always been a planner but I think now that I have more things going on, and two little ones to drag around with me I get more particular about timing, and how long I have to wait to do something. Everything effects them or their moods and the last thing I want to do is run errands with a cranky baby. So I just with other people would be more time conscious and realize that when they are late it makes me late and can negatively effect my life.

So basically, be on time people!!
