Usually Thursdays are Anti-Mom Days, well I have decided today is Anti-Social Mom Thursday.
Being a mom, a family member or friend comes with duties you need to uphold. Like attending a birthday party, wedding, or baby shower. Well Thanks to being all three of those my weekend schedule from Feb 1 to April 7 is looking pretty full. Here is all the things I have going on because I decided I had to be social:
2 Baby Showers
1 Bridal Shower
1 Bachelorette Party
1 Valentines Day whatever
1 St. Patricks Day (to party for ancestors)
1 Easter
7 Birthdays (2 of which I have to plan, 2 are other kids, 2 are adults in the family, and 1 I have to sacrifice an evening with my hubby to for his friend)
1 Baby Greeting (meeting the baby for the first time)
This is all happening because I decided to live my life in a social "normal" way instead of being a hermit that I'm sure I was intended to be. Now I just have to pray that not everybody decides to have their parties on the same day so I can make my appearances to all of them. That's what I get for being a social mom! Don't do it!
