I'm scared are words I hear a lot from Tyler lately. It is one of the ways he expresses that he does not want to do something, he will also say he is too big or too small to do a job.
But something I heard last night for the first time was I'm scared of the monster. He is only 3 and already saying he is afraid of monsters. Although this particular monster happened to reside in his ear, which of course I quickly eliminated with my pro monster removing skills. But now I have to look forward to all the times ahead where I will be checking ears, under the bed, in dresser drawers, and most importantly the closet.
It will be a long scary monster filled road ahead of us but hopefully he will trust us enough to get rid of those nasty monsters once and never question it again. Not likely I know, but I don't like seeing him scared of things.
